What translation of scripture is used in worship?
The TNIV (Today's New International Version) translation is used in worship.
What time is worship?
- Worship begins at 10:30 am on Sunday mornings.
- Children's worship for grades 1-3 meets from September-May during the second half of the worship hour.
- Japanese Worship Service is the second Sunday of every month in the Chapel at 3:00 pm.

Is there a dress code?
Everyone is welcome to dress how they feel most comfortable. You will find people wearing suits and ties, but you will also see people dressed casually.
Where do I park?
Parking lots are located behind and to the right of the church. Guest parking is available directly behind the church, across from the church office/welcome center entrance. A golf cart is also available for persons with mobility issues. The medical clinic lot across Greenville Street and on-street parking are also options.
Where is the Nursery?
Childcare is available during worship for infants through kindergarten. Classes are located on the first floor of the children's building. Greeters are available to assist you in finding classes.
Is there handicap access?
An elevator provides access to all floors of our church building and is located in the children's building. You may access the elevator at the covered entrance at the rear of the church. Ramps are located at the left entrance into the sanctuary and the entrance into the education/chapel wing. Handicap equipped restrooms are available in the children's building. The Christian Activities Center (CAC) behind the church is completely accessible. Follow the sidewalk to the left for a ramped entrance into the building. Handicap parking is available in the front circle and the side and rear entrances.
Where are Sunday School classes located?
Classes for adults are located in the Christian Activities Center (CAC), the main building and the chapel. Classes for children and youth are located in the children's building and main building. Greeters are available to assist you in finding classes.
What time is Sunday School?
We offer Sunday School classes for all ages at 9:15 am.
How would I join Boulevard Baptist Church?
We receive members every Sunday during the Hymn of Commitment. During this hymn, decisions about church membership or other matters of faith may be shared with the pastor and the congregation. We receive new Christians by a confession of faith and baptism. We also receive persons by transfer of membership from other churches. Persons who bring a heritage of Christian faith from another denomination do not have to be baptized again. We will contact your former church to inform them of your decision. Persons are welcome to join at any time. Many, however, make an appointment with the pastor or other staff member to discuss their decision prior to joining. They will gladly answer any questions you may have about our church or the Christian faith. You may contact the church office at 864-225-8693 to set up an appointment, or you may indicate your desire to join the church on the registration sheet and someone will contact you.
