Haitian Relief Response
We have watched with profound sadness and grief the devastation that has visited Haiti in the form of a 7.0 magnitude earthquake. The human suffering is difficult to get our minds around on so many fronts. As Christians we are obligated to respond with compassion and determination to this horror. As Baptist Christians we have a number of platforms to offer our own responses.
The needs are so over-whelming and urgent, it is difficult to know where to begin. The following responses are suggested:

1. We need to pray.
a. Pray for all the people of Haiti.
b. Pray for relief workers.
c. Pray for a strong response from the nations of the world and adequate resources to address the needs.

2. We need to give generously and compassionately. We can give one of two ways:
